Description

Part of Collection 01, a body of digital artworks drawing together the laws of nature, modern science and art. The work turns to the electricity carried through modern infrastructure, the pylons and transmission lines that cross the landscape, and declines to treat it as something separate from the electromagnetic fields of the earth and of everything beyond it. Grid and planet are read as one continuous field rather than two systems, so that human engineering appears less as an imposition upon nature than as a local arrangement of a force already running through it.
